andy is right, it costs loads to get an advert in one of the top magazines (£800 for a 1/4 page in Max P) so why not build a car to get a 4, 5 or 6+ page advert so to speak! You also have a car for shows, etc!
It is true about the colour of the car though, as Andy Mills from Max Power emailed me about the colour of my civic will be, as less likely to get a cover if its darker!!
I wouldnt say yours was that dark though Bradz, go round to the other mags, they'll cover it!!

after mods bout 100 mph but i aint in it for speed the car was built the way i wanted it

they say that they want bright coloured cars on their cover so why didnt the golf in this months mag get on it everything on that car was 1off and it was bloody bright yellow and off subject i was in the tent next to emma from revs at donny and fuck me she's noisy when she's shagging

Bad news to be let down in this way.
I've a couple of things to mention. Firstly thats a private email from Emma and I for one can see things in there that shouldn't really be public concerning another mags alledged policy on misleading owners regarding feature positioning.
Secondly although colours, background, features of the photography can be altered, this is obvious when it's done and I for one would consider a modified photo to be a step too far - it's journalism of real things. Not a brochure of tarted up ficticious ones.
Thirdly I'm not so fickle. We're currently on the lookout for feature cars for August, drop me or Tim an email
