Hi, im going to be changing the rocker seal but I am not sure whether to use silicone sealant as the bit of paper with the victor reinz seal says not to but my Haynes manual say that I should?
should i use the sealant if so what one do I use as I cant find the one it says to use in the manual and I don't know what the equivalent is?

i bought some black silicone as someone said to use black on rocker seals

Sorry didn't see this. You just need a high temp durable silicone like Loctite 5926.
