have an mk4 astra and the EML has come on and the rev counter and speado doesnt work properly. without plugging it in any one have any ideas? thought could be speed sensor but would theat bring the EML om

Yeah, ECU needs engine speed and vehicle speed signals.

Speed sender on the box wouldn't disable the rev counter though.
