looking to buy a headset mostly to play cod on my xbox , lots of choice and the prices range up from £20 to £200.

any recommendations which would be the best one , dont fancy spending £200 ,upto £80 would be ok. but i presume the cheap ones are going to be rubbish and not last.

the only thing i need from them is a built in headphone.

Take a look at Astro headsets too as an alternative

I wouldn't say the cheaper Turtle Beaches won't last, they're just not as spec'd up. Die hards on here will shoot them down, but X12s are perfectly reasonable for playing with, only £30ish new.

Just had a look and there's a pair of used X41s for £70 buy it now on ebay

I've had 4 different Turtle Beach models for the PS3. P11, PX21, PX5 and now the PX51. The build quality is pretty much the same across the range it's just, as Brett said, the higher models have better spec.

Don't get Turtle Beach. They constantly go wrong.

We've discussed this before Marc quote: Originally posted by Marc

We had so many returns when I worked at Gamestation. Mainly its the mouth piece that fails. Then lack of sound in the ear phones themselves.

Marc, on the scale of units sold, the fact you've had a few returned at Gamestation doesn't mean much. Everything has failures, doesn't matter what it is, that's what a warranty is for.

Lol like anything, people only post when there's trouble, not the other way around. Internet says all Subarus break and melt pistons, yet I've had 3 with no issues
