Anybody transformed a room into a home office?

I have a spare 3m by 3m room that is going to be transformed.

Was my Grandma's old room that she slept in for many years before she passed away a couple of years ago so was a bit weird working in it.

Heres some pics as it was and then cupboards removed

More pics soon.

Plan is to move a light switch so can be accessed next to the door and then plaster the walls and install 4x LED downlighters (6w equivalent to 50w in warm white)

Planning on the following furniture:

Connected to

with some bookcases etc of course

(depends on what my new job pay for as this is approx £540 so far!!)

The bed will stay in the room but I have also purchased this to go on one of the desks

Costs so far:

Rip out cupboards- £Free
Find out that the walls need plastering- £180
LED downlighters and rerouting the on/off switch- £153
Furniture is looking at around £540 with chair (hopefully paid for by work)
Fish tank and all accessories- £40 plus cost of filters, gravel and fish of course (another £40?)

Will update this on sunday when walls have been plastered...then its time to paint in approx 7 days time!

Its the Fluval Edge 23l mate. Its £99 brand new or £159 for the 46l.

Mine didnt come with filters but they are cheap online anyway (£7.20 for a pack)

I did a search on ebay and clicked on "location closest" to get one local to me!

I converted our spare bedroom into an office spent silly amount of money for size of room.

Plastered all walls and ceiling
Spot lights
Custom mural wallpaper
Black nickel sockets / switches
2 x Oak desks
New carpet
Charles Eames chair

Was my room in house to do what I wanted so ended up going mad.
