Just kept saying poor gps. Would not load a route and was generally useless. I tired this in a number of locations in and around Birmingham where google maps had no trouble at all gaining a gps signal. So deleted it as essentially it didn't work.

Can't help you there. According to Apple it's normal not to be able to walk into a shop and buy something that you'd like, apparently you have to book a slot online after 9pm the night before

Twas sent me away and told me I could come back in 3 hours to get 3 of their faulty products looked at, while still having a shop with about 3 staff per person.

I hate their shops, their business and their staff. But they make products that I like so like a chump I go there and try buy stuff from them

Like it matters for them, but they have lost a few quid from me because they make it so difficult to spend money in their shops.
