As title, looking for a mechanic to come out and have a look at the corsa. It's fitted with an early style xe and was working fine up until a couple of weeks go.

I did a headgasket on it then put it back together - drove fine for a week apart from a slight miss when under load. I thought the best thing would be to try a set of plugs and leads but after fitting new leads alone the ,ar wouldn't start at all. Refitted the old ones, same story.

I've managed to get it to a point where it starts for all of 10-15secs, runs like a bag of shite not allowing you to give any throttle, then dies. I've whipped the plugs out and have found out that no.3 injector isn't firing - now that the loom and electronics ade involved i'm officially stumped.

If there's anyone that could take a look this week it'd be great, just send a u2u over and i'll get back asap.

U tried a different ecu or swapping around injectors could b a lazy fuel pump bud aswell If am doin nufn on sat might pop ower n see what a can do bud

Thatd be quality robbie, i've tried new injectors off kieran on here (kizzacorsab), new AFM, checked fuel pump, new fuel pump relay, new fuel filter and a good few other things. I think i've had this problemwith the injectors for a while since when i removed the head to do the gasket no.3 combustion chamber was a lot less sooted up than the others.

I need the motor for work next monday mate, there any chance you could come out this week to it? Obv i'll cover your time and sort your petrol, it's a pain in the arse the thing can't even drive

A had a problem like that aswell with a conversion a did for Dave b of here a while back and was his wiring loom a will see if a can get hold of a loom n come through

had a problem like this years ago, was a split fuel pipe, guessing youve prob checked that already though

yes davie lose conections were 2.0l loom meets corsa loom going to re wire it all with connectors and isulate it all

Bhoona, had a couple of teethin problems with the new loom and ecu for anyone wondering. I'll be over in about half an hr 45min robbie mate
