Ok i have been reading the tutorials and i dont know what kit to buy. I want something noisy, and i just want to improve the throttle responce not bhp.

What do you guys recommend?? Pipercross, K&N, PVD or upgrading the original with new filter and bits mentioned in tutorial. Such as drilling the original box?

I've got a pipercross on a 1.6 sport, was louder than a vector pipercross, not much difference to a k+n though on a 1.6 gsi.
All cones are loud on 1.4 + 1.6 16v engines! Just get the cheapest or whats in stock on the day!

The way to get K&N's or similar cheap is to phone the factory up, and ask if they have any with minor imperfections.

They will probably have some with scratches across the polished end, and ones that have been put in boxes with no fitting kit or something else stupid. And they won't sell them normally. In other words, you can get perfect filters for a tenner each.

All induction kits give lots of noise to a non turbo/supercharged car. K&N is notorious for its noise but Pipercross always give best performance. To be honest I only use Pipercross - there also cheaper than a K&N and look better in my opinion.
