Mine makes that noise but my exhaust fumes are fine. I doubt it'll be your head gasket. I've heard of loads of corsa's with this problem.

I had this problem, pissed me off for ages. In the end the problem was head gasket. Get a compression test done (i think thats what it is called)

i was loosing water fro the expansion tank, only small amounts though. where the gasket had blown the fumes from the engine were getting in to the expansion tank causing really high pressure. After you have been out for a drive wait till your engine cools down and see if you have huge amounts of pressure in the expansion tank. 3corsameal you may just have an airlock or something

my head gasket blew last year had it fixed and this noise of running water has been there for months like 7-8 there is no white smoke from the zorst and no froff in oil cap and car runs excellently, but there is alot of pressure in my expansion tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but recently i filled it up with just coolant/anti-freeze and this noise of runnin water has disappeared but there is still alot of pressure in my expansion tank and water empties out of it but if u open the bottle when the car has been runnin the water all burst's back in2 the bottle

'there is still alot of pressure in my expansion tank and water empties out of it but if u open the bottle when the car has been runnin the water all burst's back in2 the bottle'
This is normal thats why its called an expansion tank, wouldn't worry too much bout it
