Right i've taken just about everything that will come off, but I've hit a small problem...?

I've removed the 4 screws holding it in but it is still held on by the "heater control cables"

I just want the blue bit that is shown below to take off and paint, leaving the air con etc still in the car.

Thats only a rough guide that needs to be re written, but it should give you an idea. Have you managed to get the three knobs off ok? The heated rear window one can be a bit of a pig sometimes.

Still cant get it off!

Behind the left and right knob (not middle) there are black bits that the knobs fit on.

Do you need to remove them? They semm to be the only thing holding the panel on.

You need to unclip the 4 cables from the back, then undo the two screws from the back which will free the bit you want to paint!

You wont get it off without uncliping the cables!!!
