Hmm, ok, guess it would say that in the instructions, was just wondering if anyone had/has any prior knowledge of just using a pre-made smoothed boot or not

i whas thinking to make my own in metal , but the glassfiber ones look very ok , so is it a good idea to by one ?
or should i hammer out a metal sheet on my own and weld it on?
anyone got a idea ? whats the best ?
it`s a lot of hammering if i`m gona avoid to use much filler ,
