As above, trying to change the coolant on my birds micra 2004, got the jubilee clip off put the pipe is stuck on (its the pipe that comes out bottom of radiator), when i pull on it, it just stretches the rubber rather than pull the pipe off.

pour very hot water on the pipe slowly so it can heat up gradually, then it puuls off a hell of a lot easier

I wouldn't use a screwdriver incase you put a hole in it.

i was thinking screwdriver but didnt want a hole in it. i was thinking about cutting it off but then i bet its like £10 for a new one. hot water one sounds good if it'll work

Firstly, Fightstar, get spelling lessons and stop talking like a cock.

Secondly, Tom J, a screwdriver gently between the hose and whatever it is attached to, then wiggle it, twist it and generally work it free before pulling it off. A bit of insulation tape on the screwdriver helps, as does fairy liquid (other brands of washing up liquid are available).



I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I just used a screwdriver to break the seal on my coolant pips Tom, worked a treat.
