infact, if the injector isnt at its max, why would the light come on? theyre a certain cc so that they run safe. becuase one is down, it still might be able to put enough fuel in to keep the o2 sensor happy, that doesnt mean anything to do with its flow being maxed, or the spray pattern at all. ecu cant detect either of them.
say you have a 390cc injector, and its lost 30% of its duty. yet the engine only requires say 300cc per injector. the light wouldnt come on would it? as the injector would still be giving the engine enough fuel.

wont waste my money with cleaning
i just got new ones
paid £40 for new z20let ones (mistake my parts pricing!)
and paid £85 for my z20leh ones, thsts set of four on a rail

you can buy new ones for X amount but you dont know how long they have been on the shelf etc, could have been there ages..
thats why i would personally get them sent off to be rebuilt and tested..
atleast i know there running 100%..

o2 sensor isnt used flat out, as its only narrow band,
will only read on idle and crusing

i had my brand new ones flow tested to make sure they were fine. i cant afford to take risks like warren does and say its a waste of money.
fuelling is very important warren. VERY important.

no idea,
but since i needed high flow injectors, was the cheapest option, and prob the best!

no idea,
but since i needed high flow injectors, was the cheapest option, and prob the best!
but how is you buying higher flowing ones relevant to someone wanting theirs cleaned for a 1600?

was just saying
im sure using somesort of injection cleaner would do the job too, like forte
injectors tyicaly on a standard car prob use 60-70% of there max duty cycle
and its only the spray pattern that would make for better atmosiation, as apose to flow rate
