Turbo is 1 part of hundreds in an engine.

You can buy ANY 2nd hand car and it may develop a fault and be costly to replace.

Turbo is just another part that could, or could not go wrong. And it can be replaced.

Just don't buy any car you can't afford to run/maintain should it go wrong.

It is pretty shit but its acar, they go wrong. Get yourself a recon turbo for no more than 300 quid and it will be easy to fit.

Cars go wrong, not the garages fault that sold you it..

i've fitted a few turbos to the 1.3 cdti engines, not a bad job at all to do, try it yourself.

but yeah as soon as engine oil runs low in them engines the first thing to get starved is the turbo so its normally the first thing to go!
