vauxhall warranty is gash at the best of times, but with the current thing with them about to go bust and that you dont really have the correct warranty i really cant see them giving you anything!

Go bust? Do you have some sort of inside information because as far as I'm aware they are no where near going bust.

159k and still going strong on my Vento TDI! I give it death everyday!

Regards to your car being clocked. Have you not go service history/MOTs etc

Oh and just because it was lloyds TSB, doesn't mean it wasn't ragged. I had a fleet car in the NHS and blew the engine after 1500 miles when the belt slipped off

How is the customer service a joke?

You can't put an 'average life' on a Turbo. You have no idea how the vehicle was treated before you had it. And, if my experience as a service advisor is anything to go by then with it being ex-lease, its been ragged to within an inch of its life more times than Lyndsay Dawn Mackenzie.

Again, with the warranty, as said its upto to you to read it before you sign it.

How was CMS out of interest??

Exactly. Therefore £650 isn't extortionate is it? And, was it just a turbo or seals, pick ups etc??

Cant remember 100%, but we fitted a new turbo and a throttle body(but this was a different problem) but they were both done at the same time but took a while

Are you shitting me? Most people just get a VXR turbo when they go and they aren't expensive, LMF supplied them for £399 quid a while back.

No reason to be scared of them, they'll last a long time if looked after properly.

If you start your car, drive a short distance on full boost from cold and then shut off straight away, then yeah, expect problems.

I only had to replace my twins as the oil system pressurized and blew the seals on the primary, which was an engine fault, not a turbo issue.
