as above he was ragging it on an A road when loss of revs n power and lots of steam from bonnet
he rang me i told him to open up the header tank he sed there is no coolant left and engines all wet
i suspected bust pipe
AA guy just arrived and sed its probably head gasket
shurely it wouldnt loose all the coolant in one go if it was a head gasket?

Did the AA guy do a compression test? I'd think that's what he'd base it upon anyway.

Must just be a burst or loose hose connection, either that a big hole in the rad but they should all b easy to spot. Poor water in follow the river of water

I just love how easy they are to work on. Changed the head gasket on my old one and there was just so much room to work in.
