Ive been considering a new car for ages now and have a budget of around £2000.
Ive been looking at MK4 Astra's for a while now, and found this one locally.
Astra Sri Black 2.0
Love it in Black, more than enough power for me, and a nice spec.
High Mileage but it doesnt really bother me as I dont do much mileage anyway.
And can get insured on it for £1600 tpft
My one problem is with the parents
They want me to get rid of one car which I have no problem with, I can sell the Green one easily and replace it with this Astra as my daily driver.
But they have mentioned selling the turbo, but I dont really want to.
I know I wont be able to drive the Turbo for a while yet, but its my project and my hobby, If i kept the green one theres no point as theres nothing left to do to it bar and engine conversion which Im not really up for doing as I already have the Turbo Corsa.
Plus selling the Corsa Turbo considering it has no MOT and tax will be abit hard unless i break it for bits, but I do need 1 car gone straight away and not 1 sitting there being stripped for parts.
Plus selling the Turbo as it is now I probably wont get alot for it in its current state.
So the decision I want to make is to sell the Green Corsa, Buy the Astra and keep the Turbo as my hobby and project.
This make sense to you guys?
What do you think?

Would be nice to Turbo the Green Thing, but that means having 3 cars for a while, and I need one gone, plus an engine conversion it out of the question to be honest, dont have the time anymore plus my parents would kill me again

if you can't turbo the green thing. i would keep both corsa's, or, if you could persuade your parents and make time. turbo the green thing, make the black one good, sell it on then look for a astra hatch. I'm sure there would be plenty for sale at that time imo.
