Right been seeing every 1 saying that when you open your oil cap oil should come out but i opened mine a 1 little bit come out and after that f**K all. I am using fully syntectic oil. 0-30 i belive. What could be wrong :S:S oil pumP?

Not really just a bit of mist of oil, it wont fly out.

He is just consernd about his oil pump not working, if the oil light isnt on it should be ok

i got a simillar problem when starting the light stays on for 4 sec and sometimes i can heara valve tappets ticking until lights off should be oil pump or something else ?

Its just pumping up to pressure then the tappets get oil, all normal

By all means use any oil you like its your money, but any semi synth oil will be more than enough to protect your engine also use the correct grade, e.g. 15/40.

Probably the oil your using!!!
0/30 is very thin, get some 10/40-15/40 in

have been told that 15 40 isnt good for the oil pumo :S:S

15/40 is recommended by vauxhall iirc.

15/40 gm semi synthetic gets thrown in all my cars!! never looked back since it shut my noisy lifters up on my old 20xe

your tapped noise is your silly thin oil

Use 10 / 40 the stuff I used to use was GM stuff £10 for 4.5 litres
