So when was the Max feature on A16V TB? Thinking about it, not sure I was even driving, perhaps 93/94 ?
Yeah would of been about then, A16 VTB was one of the countrys first Nova LET's (hence the plate), built by Courtaneys.
It was on the cover of one of the first Max Power's and was taken to Milbrook bowl and test driven by former BTCC driver Tim Harvey.
I've got the copy of the magazine in my loft, along with the one with K95 VHD in and other legendary Nova's from the past - Nick Caro's, Brett Warburtons (both features) etc
Blimey, I feel a little bit like Jr!!!

Oh and when A16 VTB was featured it didn't have Speedlines on, it had some very very rare Irmscher alloys (which look awesome btw!!)

I had pictures of A16 VTB on my design technology folder @ school which must have been 96. I also had pics of the yellow max power carlton, purple max power e30 beema (which some bloke local to me won), and the skeete (iirc) golf and r5 turbo

Looks good. My favourite Nova has to be Benns on MIG though. He lives round the corner from me and he really does keep it as clean as the photos he posts and the shows he attends.

Nah, the gold RL7's are what it looks classic on
Needs a standard Gsi slatted grille insert and the vinyl put back on all round (can't remember if Rick done that or not )
Needs the single wiper removing and normal ones put on, also those tinted side repeators need to be thrown and some clear, standard, round stubby ones fitted - retro OEM look ftw

It means when you talk about something and it suddenly dawns on you that you maybe know a little too much about the subject than is considered healthy - like you and SVM and your Fords!
It is a compliment in a roundabout sort of way!

The RL7's do make it stand out and prob what made it more recognisable, still pretty iconic on any of the rims though. Agree'd the vinyl does look a lot better on the back.
