Hi there

Ive got an X16XE and want to remove the EGR valve but i am unaware of whether this will cause the engine warning light to appear and if so is it just a case of clearing the code once and be done with it

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated!

The EGR cant be removed because the EM light would come on, it just gets the outlet blocked up when people fit different inlet manifolds

You have to keep it plugged in.

You can blank it off with a blanking plate but im not sure if you could use the plate with the throttle in the standard position, I only blanked it with the dbilas manifold on
