hi my car is fitted with a boot popper has a smooth boot it is operated by the rear wash wipe, you can open it by the switch but when you push the boot back down its as if the lock is locked, so you have to pull one of the cables so it re-opens the lock and then it will close properly if that makes sense? anyone got any ideas what could be causing this problem? thanks lee

u need a new solenoid as its not retracting back and leaving the latch in the open position, there only cheap

just go to a srappys and get one out of a central locking door or boot
