Oh, I dunno...his play list is 110% better than the rest of the shite on radio 1
I really have enjoyed both the 'masterpiece' series too

Yeah,
By people who listen to radio 1?
Yeah, Mills and Moyles pass the time of day when you are driving to/back from work...but they are good for the banter/jokes not the music.
R1 is far better after 7 0pm imo

Radio 6 music FTW.
Zane just bums the up and coming indie bands, thats all.
"Ah man, Arctic Monkeys. New album sounds awesome, one of my fave bands"
"Ah man, The Feeling. New album sounds awesome, one of my fave bands"
"Ah man, Hadouken. New album sounds awesome, one of my fave bands"
"Ah man, The Enemy. New album sounds awesome, one of my fave bands"
"Ah man, Arctic Monkeys. New album sounds awesome, one of my fave bands"

Then the people who voted are idiots - November rain has the best guitar solo of ever!
Listen to it, it starts around 7.08s roughly.....not that I know or anything.....

It wasnt on solos though. Had to apparently be simple and easy to repeat etc. Something that makes up a base of a song. Was on the BBC breakfast show. Purple haze was top iirc.

Guns'n'Roses had 3 songs in the top 10 of that 'best riff ever' vote if I remember correctly?
I'm not a fan of Zane Lowe himself, but his shows playlists are the only decent things worth listening to on Radio1. I fucking hate Chris Moyles with a passion. He's supposed to be a DJ. I wish he'd shut the fuck up and play some music!
