They can still give you points and a ban...i think.

yeh they can cause they just put it on you provisional licence, i took my test with 8 points, but if i got them after i passed then i woulda got banned, you can only take you teast with 8 points, so i was on the limit, if i get 1 point im banned, and mine stay on for three years,

yep a got 8 points when a was 16 aswell just like your resitting your test(when your actually sitting it for the first time)

CD30 (Driving without due care and attention) for a handbrake turn.
7Points + £350 fine + Re-sit test (under 2 year old license)

CD30 (Driving without due care and attention) for rolling my car
6Points + £400 fine + 6months ban

TT99 for totting up more than 12 points.

Been stopped for excessive noise lots of times
Illegal plates lots of times
Illegal rear lamps - ended up in court twice for the plates and lamps

License now shows no points but the TT99

Total court appearances - 5

Nice clean license since I passed (3 years), may or may not have done a lot of the things in this thread tho
