Well my car has no alloys and my dad says it would look better with. I'm just wondering how much will the insurence be bumped up by? There are some in halfords for £300 and they are 15 inch. I'm on my dads policy so would it bump it up less?

Best thing is to ring up insurance, oh and Halfords + £300 probably = RIPSPEED

Avoid like the plague. Tesco value alloys.

bad offsets, normally have bigger tyes than needed aswell.

Vauxhall wheels with et49 offset can be picked up cheap these days and normally look better, have a nose in classifieds or on ebay and you can normally find a set close by

These have 38mm offsets is that bad for a corsa? Or are they not accurate?

depends if you have lowered the car or have any plans to lower it.

Im lowered 50mm and had 15" et35 wheels with 195'45 tyres and it scrubbed really badly on the back, so bad that if someone was in the back it would just scrub permanently.

If you had vauxhalls wheels then you wouldn't have this problem as the offset is much better.
I have vauxhalls alloys again and in a bigger size and it doesnt scrub what so ever on the back.

ET38 and have 195/50 budget tyres.

Wrong tyres size and offest is 11mm out. Save your money and get some Vaux alloys or ET49 alloys.

My Ripspeed alloys were fine on stock suspension but once lowered 60mm had to get rid of them.

I don't plan on lowering the car. My dad doesn't think a 38mm one would scrub on the sides either.

If you don't lower it then it won't rub

Like I said mate, it won't rub on standard suspension, if you lower it then the bigger chance it will scrub(depends on how much you lower it)

No offence, but this is a corsa forum, surely this is the best place to find out about this, not whatever forum your dad is using?

The alloys will be fine aslong as you dont lower the car.

Vauxhall designed the corsa to take 49mm offset wheels, you should stick as close to this as possible, if this wasnt the case, vaux would fit other offset wheels, but iirc the lowest they go is 47mm?

ET38 would be fine with 195/45 tires. especially if your not lowering...
