I know mate Z20lets dont sound particularly good that was one of the the things I hated about the Astra GSi it just sounded like a hairdryer and no exhaust system could cure that!
Love an engine thats got a distictive note....especially ones that don't knock

Just going to go for the rear box and bodge the pre-cat. Its too expensive to do the full job with race cat
im also hoping it will mask the crappy dump valve noise, i've not messed with it but its really obvious cos its only about 3 inches from your head

the monaro had difficulty round the twisties, i was pushing him along, had to keep letting off.. everytime he floored it wheels spun up lol.

Doesn't sound like he could drive.... 
However a nimble 220's gonna kill it on the twisties, its not like the Vxr's are that quick anyway. Amazing sound though, ooohhhh V8 muscle!!
