actually iv learnt from an avid ps3 fan that the ps network is glitchy as fuck  and that it took them 2 hours to get into a cod4 match the other evening
in fact 3 of them couldn't get it in for several hours aswell as random getting kicked and logging off.

Takes a couple of minutes for me to find a match sometimes on psn, only problems i've had are host dropping connection ones, no problems logging in or random kick offs, thats only my experience of it though.

Happens on 360 too.
Tonight was fine, but it did go nuts after 10pm though as Necro says.
