 | I think I've got COD4 for xmas.

Being new to the xbox 360 can I just hook it up to my router and play online or do I need xbox live silver/ gold?

Seems madness having to pay a fee to play online!

 | not what iv heard from several ps3 owners

my brief experience of it, wasnt impressed, but im not narrowminded enough to base it all on that, im going on what actual ps3 owners have said

 | well from my experience me and all my mates have had no problems and it just seems that the people flaming it are bitter xbox owners who have to pay to play online

 | maybe i worded it wrong.

it may not be pants considering its free, but its pants compared to the 360 live which you have to pay for.

but like i said you get what you pay for, i certainly dont find £5 per month intrusive at all.

thats £1.25 a week, anyone complaining about paying that deserves to be homeless

Pants yes, but only in comparison. It's adequate considering it's free.

Back on topic, you'll probably get 1 Months free Gold Membership with the game, if not check your other games out, you might have Free Membership in one.
