	I'm happy to pay £40 for xbox live... we'll i'd prefer it to be free but come on... £40 a year is fuck all.

	maybe i worded it wrong. it may not be pants considering its free, but its pants compared to the 360 live which you have to pay for. but like i said you get what you pay for, i certainly dont find £5 per month intrusive at all. thats £1.25 a week, anyone complaining about paying that deserves to be homeless

	u need gold to play online, if you have a new xbox account u get 3 months free gold anyway, the online fee is gay, but the xboxlive network is ace

	I think I've got COD4 for xmas. Being new to the xbox 360 can I just hook it up to my router and play online or do I need xbox live silver/ gold? Seems madness having to pay a fee to play online!
