when using a router, to connect it to the pc and modem
do u have to use ethernet cable, the reason i wanna know is that i have my internet connected with crossover cables? and i am wondering if this is causing the problems i have been havin with my bad internet connection

the wireless works fine on the laptop but the main pc which is wired is the one i am havin problems with

If you are connecting a system to a router you need straight through, so if you are using crosover then yes that will be the problem.

sorted mate that was a problem, also settings on the router wasnt right either
