Sorry its not a corsa. Basically my dads rover sometimes decides that it doesnt want to start. Its not a problem with electric supply and its not to do with it being cold, just happens randomly.

I guessed that it may be something to do with the immobiliser?

Any help appreciated,

Does the starter turn?

Usually the imobiliser cuts the spark, not the motor.

The starter does turn yes.

what engine has it got in it?

pull a HT lead off and see if its sparking,

iv known the fuel pumps in the tank fall to bits, just need putting back tgether, lift the rear bench and carpet remove the cover and lift up (but not out) the pump, it will be obvious if this is the fault
