when i bought the car there was an alarm and imobiliser fitted
lately its been getting that i have to real close to the car for it to unlock and lock, is this the battery going??
been bothering me cause i cant unlock the door with the key cause its a delocked door handles
and i aint got no spare key or spare imobilizer/alarm button
any ideas
and where can i get another spare alarm imobilizer unit thingy??

the distance i can unlock and lock my car fades when the batteries on the fob are going, sometimes it wouldnt work when i had the fob on the car lol. but my handels arent delocked yet so im safe for now id say battery in fob change.

It will be the battery in the fob I should imagine, nothing else.
If you car starts first time every time, there is enough in the car battery for the alarm.
Try the battery in the fob first
