I had the manifold in the car for the past week or so and done about 100 miles in it.
Since putting the manifold on I have noticed that the car does run at the normal 92-93 degrees temp any more, seems to be more like 89.
Is this common or do you think there may be something wrong ?
Also if the car does run constently at 88-89 degrees will this not cause the emissions to be higher and fail the MOT ?

5degrees??... dont worry..
its more likely the colder weather this time of year.
no, colder coolant wont fail the emissions.

Depends.
Engines can run so cold it doesn't map itself right iirc.
