just about to fit new exhaust system, its got the gaskets with it but should I put some sort of gasket seal paste where the gaskets touch the metal flanges or just tighten the joints up without any type of gasket sealant. regards Dave

do you mean at the manifold?

if so, dont use anything other than the proper gasket

for exhaust sections you can use an exhaust paste (gun gum, etc), but if its a new system it shouldnt really need anything, just clamp it tight
