got told i need new ones by a garage. first of all should i be driving it? second, how hard to fit new ones. cheers

track rod end will just make it knock...

depends how bad the bearing is as to weather you should drive it.

Bearings can be a bastard to fit if you don't have a vice, best off getting the garage to do bearings. Track rod ends are easy

Track rod ends can be an utter cunt if they have been on there for a good while. Blow torch and some JB80 soon sorts it.
