Will 100mm springs on the rear be ok used with standard shocks?

if you want to replace your shocks every other week and want your springs to fall out when you go over a bump

no, standard shocks bottom out at just over - 65mm

for 100mm you need some special extra short shocks.

i had 90mm on standard rear's..

dropped it about 70mm, as damper's was on bump stop's and wouldn't go lower..


90mm with standard shock;s




then again, same spring's with proper shortened shocks

basically rear shock's you get with a proper lowering kit..

ie spax, gaz, billies, etc etc etc

they wont last v long, mine didnt they just lost any give so it banged like fuck on any bump

dont put them on until you have after market shocks on, its not worth it

Fitted them and it sits the same as Ste L's did without uprated shocks. Am hoping to get shortened shocks asap so if anyone has any let me know! Putting the AVO coilies on the front tomorrow as well!

bin doin abit of research and i will spend more money on new shockers every otha few months than if i just save up and get a set of coilovers in the long run !!!!! betta get savin

It is quite bouncy... hope some shocks come up for sale soon.
