outer CV is clicking when on full lock
at MOT it was picked up on the gaitor haveing its clip missing, so it may of been like this for some time.
Some told me to rty re greasing it first instead of buying a new joint straight away as where the clip was off, crap and water could of got in drying it out.

is this true

sometimes works, depends how dry the joint is. for the hassle of doing it just buy a new CV, they are only £25.
