can't seem to get it to work. i've got a wireless router with 2 pc's connected but can't file share? can i share files through a wireless connection? or do i need to add more bits to it?

nope wireless connection is fine, not to sure with vista as i havnt got round to installing it yet but its a doddle with xp.
right click on the folder you want to share, choose the sharring tab then enable sharring on this computer.
now download netview (http://www.systemtools.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?NetView)
install that to the other pc and run it, you should now be able to see the other computers shared folders, from here you can make shortcuts, move things round, add the shared drive to my computer ect.
Theres other ways but tbh i find this to be the most effiecient rather than letting windows handle everything.
saying that might be different on vista.

Its a pain in the arse on vista.
After the folder is shared you have to go in and give the everyone group or certain users permissions.
