Last summer i got an e-mail from Freeserve (My ISP still) about file sharing saying what i was downloading was part of copyright and basically not to do it. Has anyone else got one of these e-mails? I've not used file sharing for ages now and just wondered id anyone knows anything about these e-mails?

u sure it WAS from ur isp not one of these anonymous emailers that let u send an email from any adress

A few forums i visit say they have had them of BT and also warnings about uploading to much.

Well i dunno cause it said we are the backbone of F,serve etc and also told me wot my IP addy was at that time and wot i was downloadin. Also the e-mail was really well written although i didn't have a clue wot they were chatin
