Ive posted a few times about a White Corsa Gsi thats been sat up the scrappy waiting to clear, story goes i put my name down on it 2 months ago and have been saving up and waiting for it ever since.
I spotted it last night on the website and went up there this morning with the cash in hand ready to buy it, thats how bad i wanted it.
Got there and some lad was already looking at it, fair enough I thought.
Went to have a nose anyway, and there was 3 of them looking at it, i asked him if he was getting it and he said yes.
I was about to walk away as i was gutted and then he started speaking to me about it, he said "Engines abit fooked but im just going to thrash it around until its goes bang anyway, thats what its for."
I was like FFS what a waste of a car, Ive had plans for this for ages, i was going to tidy it up, service everything and clean it up and make it back to a clean gsi.
I stayed around for abit just incase he didnt buy it, he then started it up, even though it had been standing for 10 months he went on to redline it a few times.
I went back into the sales office to try and outbid the guy but the sales men told me that the guys buying it have bought a few cars down there before and that today they are buying another 4!!
Chances are it will be in the trader next week with no mention of it being a wirte off and will be up for way too much money, watch out lol
Ah well, I'll go and spend the moeny elsewhere.

how come you didnt get it if you put your name down on it 2 months ago did tht other guy put his name down too or something

apparently they hadn't called anyone yet and he was first up there, but they where all on first name terms with eachother, mates rates i say.

I was specificly after a white corsa, and it being a 1.6 gsi was a massive bonus.
Think I will skip the project idea, just put a few quid towards mine for the bits it needs.
