Does anyone know how to remove a rear strut brace? when i try to undo it the nut just keeps spinning

Usually the shocker has a flat part on the top of the rod you can hold with a spanner (like the fronts), then undo the nut.

Either that or air gun.

i have to use a socket to get to it as the bit around it is high up. Air gun something i don't have

They are the same ones just finish at different times . I bought one as I have to use them with my top mounts and does the job perfectly

Agreed, but thats why I bought it as I need it for my front strut top mounts and as its me im always breaking the car

They also come in handy for removing wheel bolts that fecking garages put on WAY TOO TIGHT. But I tend to use a big ass levering bar for that

jack rear of car up, pull plastic boot down on strut, hold then undo
