got in my car this morning ready to blast some arctic monkeys out and found i had no sub 
literally just stopped working lol. i checked the fuses, all the wiring seems to fine then put a voltmeter over it and im getting power going in but nothin coming off the ground lead
any ideas appreciated!

mine did it loads... turned out to be a very very lose earth connection. and still occasionally goes off once the amp gets silly warm.

yeh mine was screwed to the boot floor or well... was suppposed to be. but it was very loose.

its a fli sub with built in amp, but no the light isnt coming on. although im failry sure its not the amp as i tried sticking my mates sub & amp in there and it didnt work either

may sound silly but have you checked the fuse on the power cable? (mines near the battery itself) that is if it has one

your remote wire has probably come out the back of the stereo or as said your earth is dodgy.

tried all of those 
i may try another earth but failing that itl have to go into a sounds place me thinks

Remote - check it both ends
Ground - Check sonnection is tight
Power - Check fuse is ok, if it is there might be a break in the cable somewhere
RCA/Speaker wire - checck there all in
If u havnt already unscrew the sub and check connections are ok.

Make sure your earthing on bare metal not through paint
then as tommy said
