So just got some alloys off a astra on me corsa B there 195/55/15 and look really nice on there, only now the ride height looks a little tractor like!

So the obvious answer is to lower the suspension but i really dont want to loose much ride comfort! I was thinking a 40mm drop to fill the arches a bit, yay or nay?

And going back to the ride comfort will i notice a huge difference and should i expect to see any problems with a 40mm drop?

Cheers, totally new to Corsa's and cars in general, always had bikes! lol

no problems on 40.

anything over standard is really good handling.
Mine was -40 on 16's and it handled fine. the nose just dipped a little round tighter fast corners but nothing silly. Infact i prefered it to -60

Im not really looking for any amazing handling gains, i mean its only a 1.2 so im not gonna be thrashing it, got my bikes for that! What im worried about tho is the loss in ride comfort, can anyone give any past experiences with 15's and a 40mm drop with regards to comfort?

Also any pics with 195/55/15 tyres and a 40mm drop?

Cheers

Are you just going to use lowering springs? or a full kit?

just lowering springs = lots of shock
lowered with better shocks = smoother bumps, but still not going to be as comfortable as the wobbly suspension as standard.... or maybe its just because i've fitted some poly bushes lol
