just got my car back from the garage about it burning oil. and the outcome was as follows

was told the crank shaft is leaking a bit of oil
and that it will either be the the piston rings are worn or the piston rings
the guys said just see how it goes and if it gets stupid were i gotta keep topping the oil up every other day.but it will cost alot of money to be done.or to by a new engine.wot do you guys think i should do??
