I haven't seen a Corsa dash in such a long time I can't remember see

Right, so does it take it's reading from the water in the radiator? Or is there a sensor anywhere else, and does the same coolent temp sensor provide info to the ECU for the engine to run, or is it a seporate sensor for the dials?

The Corsa one takes it from the thermostat housing, little screw in thing with one wire on it.
