hi all. i have that damn fault code... ive read a few threads but just want to confirm what it is.
i have a 1.4 8v sri on an L reg. and i have vehicle speed sensor fault, code 24.
right now is it the little fcuker which goes on the gearbox? as this is what a mate of mine has said. or is it a valve sticking somewhere?

24 is VSS, its related to the dials sending an incorrect signal to the ECU.
Just get another set of dials, you need mechanical type. Shouldnt cost much from a scrappers tbj
