Firstly this kit uses the origional bumps stops. Do i need to cut them down at all before i re-use them. If so by how much?

Also ive heard that some of the bolts should be replaced upon re-fitment. Are these just the ones on the end of the piston that compress the spring?

And finally my car is a gsi so its got a rear brake bias adjuster. Will this need to be adjusted when lowering 60mm? Can I just diconnect it?

Many thanks Gavin

erm brake bias, i believe you unclip it and re clip it and it adjusts, just be a bit more cautious with the middle pedal.

bolts should be replaced but you will find most people dont, however i would recommend it and i will be replacing them on my current suspension.

first time i cut bumpstops in half used original bolts was fine though second time i bought aftermarket bolts and stops and it is the same but with a piece of mind also never adjust the valve and i never noticed anything except once where i had to slam on on a bend and the back end lock slightly

Slacken the spring right off. Otherwise your back end likes to overtake the front.

That is very true, my back can lock up before the front at times puts the arse end all over the show

you may need to get the geometry reset to i.e the camber as the tyres will scrub off in no time, i had to fit some eibach bolts and elongate the UPPER bolt hole where the hub mounts. only did the fronts as the rears wasnt far out, worth doin tho mate saves buyin tyres every 5000 miles or so

Ok cheers

Although could I be at risk from cutting too much off and the shock bottoming out? Or will stright down the middle be fine?
