I'm after a pair of camshafts to suit a high revving (9krpm) C16XE, I'm after outright power as the car is a trackday nova and low-down torque and driveability are not important. Can anyone recommend any specific companies and/or profiles?
The engine will have solid followers, omega pistons, steel rods, ported head etc.
Are there any specific reasons why I shouldn't use re-grinds?
Cheers!

for 9krpm you're wanting a 288 or 300 deg pair really, so I'd say Newman or Catcams are the best bets.
Not sure about regrinds, I wouldn't use them, but that's just because I prefer shiny new stuff

ignore piper and Kent of the shelf stuff, stick with Newman, Catcams or schrick.
SBD sell a new profile thats supposed to be good but needs to run on solids.
