the engine has a wierd sort of rattling metally sound at 3000 revssounds lyk its coming from the drivers side. .the exhaust is blowing a little bit at the front end of the cat dunno if this has any thing to do with it. its got just over 62000 on timing belt looks ok doesnt look really old still has the writing on it fairly clear dont no if its been changed though.
any ideas??? cheers

It may a number of things, a few ideas: -
Bottom pulley loose
Cambelt rollers are buggered
Loose nut somewhere

any 1 any ideas its doin my head in. just put a cambelt kit on waterpump looked and felt fine so left it no play init or tightness.
the noise sound lyk (if you put a washer a bit to big on to a bolt and shake it). only does it when you get to 3000 rpm.ideas????
