its taking about 45 seconds turning the key to get it to start
i have checked the spark plugs they are all sparking fine
once i get it started it runs fine after the first few seconds
any idea what could be wrong with it
i think it might have somthing to do with no fuel getting through

the injectors are on that rail running near your inlet.
and to be honest - i dont have a clue!
go to a scrappy and get them off another car and fit them, should only cost you like a tenner, and if it doesnt solve it - sell the injectors? lol

Its a 1.2 8v(i.e Single Point Injection) So only has one injector, no fuel rail etc.
Does it fire when trying start it? Or just turnover?

Coolent temp sensor often causes poor starts. Hard to tell though so best take it to a mechanic to have a look if you don't know what you are looking for
