I have a redtop engine in my missus's corsa and it is due an MOT...

I am concerned as the conversion is not registered on the log book - will this be an issue?

Also do redtops run a std CAT?

Ours is a straight through four branch system with a stainless backbox - what hope have i for the emissions tests?

depends on the year of the car and the year of the engine, the early xe out of the astra gte did,nt run lamba or cat but the later xe did.
it also states in the mot manual that if you can prove the engine is an eary pre catalst engine then you test which is oldest...

Believe the engine has to be updated in the log book mate. not 100% tho
